　　Patient :

　　I have great difficulty in catching my breath. My heart is beating very fast.

　　病人：

　　我呼吸困難，心跳很快。

　　Doctor:

　　When did you begin to notice these symptoms?

　　醫(yī)生：

　　你什么時(shí)候發(fā)現(xiàn)這些癥狀的？

　　Patient :

　　Well, five years ago in a routine check-up my school doctor told me that I had heart trouble. But it didn’t bother me and I could carry on as usual. About the last two years, I have noticed when I climb stairs my hears beats faster and I have to stop and catch my breath.

　　病人：

　　5年前在常規(guī)體檢的時(shí)候校醫(yī)告訴我我的心臟有問(wèn)題。但是我毫無(wú)不適，能照?；顒?dòng)。最近兩年我發(fā)現(xiàn)上樓梯時(shí)心跳的很快，并且不得不停下來(lái)喘氣。

　　Doctor:

　　How many pillows do you use when you sleep?

　　醫(yī)生：

　　你睡覺(jué)的時(shí)候用幾個(gè)枕頭？

　　Patient :

　　Two. I used to need only one, but since last year I had to add another.

　　病人：

　　兩個(gè)。我這一生都是睡一個(gè)枕頭，但從去年起，我必須增加一個(gè)。

　　Doctor:

　　Do you ever have to get up at night to pass water?

　　醫(yī)生：

　　你夜里需要起來(lái)小便嗎？

　　Patient :

　　No.

　　病人：

　　不需要。

　　Doctor:

　　Have you had any swelling of your ankles?

　　醫(yī)生：

　　你有過(guò)踝部水腫嗎？

　　Patient :

　　No, I don’t think so.

　　病人：

　　沒(méi)有，沒(méi)有水腫過(guò)。

　　Doctor:

　　Have you ever had any pain in the small of your back?

　　醫(yī)生：

　　你有過(guò)腰背部局限性疼痛嗎？

　　Patient :

　　Yes, every once in a while. But it doesn’t last long.

　　病人：

　　有過(guò)，偶爾有過(guò)。但是疼痛持續(xù)時(shí)間不長(zhǎng)。

　　Doctor:

　　On both sides?

　　醫(yī)生：

　　兩側(cè)都疼嗎？

　　Patient :

　　Yes.

　　病人：

　　是的。

　　Doctor:

　　Have you had this recently?

　　醫(yī)生：

　　近來(lái)你有過(guò)這種疼痛嗎？

　　Patient :

　　Once about a week ago, I believe.

　　病人：

　　大約1周前確實(shí)有過(guò)一次疼痛，

　　Did you have chills and fever at the same time?

　　醫(yī)生：

　　Patient :

　　Yes. For a couple of days I felt as if I had some fever.

　　病人：

　　有。近兩三天來(lái)我感覺(jué)好像有點(diǎn)發(fā)熱。

　　Doctor:

　　Have you had any burning when you urinate?

　　醫(yī)生：

　　你小便時(shí)有過(guò)燒灼感嗎？

　　Patient :

　　No.

　　病人：

　　沒(méi)有

　　Doctor:

　　Has your urine ever been cloudy or bloody?

　　醫(yī)生：

　　你的尿液有過(guò)混濁或血樣顏色嗎？

　　Patient :

　　Well, I haven’t noticed.

　　病人：

　　哦。 我沒(méi)有注意到。

　　Doctor:

　　Has anyone in your family ever had kidney or heart disease?

　　醫(yī)生：

　　你家里有人得過(guò)腎臟病或心臟病嗎？

　　Patient :

　　Well, my mother died of high blood pressure. And my father had what they called kidney cysts.

　　病人：

　　Doctor:

　　Lie on the bed please. I’ll examine you.

　　I’ll give you an EKG and a chest X-ray.

　　It seems you had better be hospitalized.

　　Patient :

　　Is it that bad?

　　病人：

　　有那么嚴(yán)重嗎？

　　Doctor:

　　No, it is not very serious, but I don’t want to take any risk. You’ll be all right soon.

　　醫(yī)生：

　　不，情況不很嚴(yán)重，可是，還是小心點(diǎn)好。您很快就會(huì)好的。
